What's Wrong with Energy Drinks?

Just like a home air conditioning unit or oil filter in a car, after time they become filled with debris it slows down efficiency. 

The same goes for your body! So the first question is…

Is your body receiving clean fuel for efficiency, or is it chemicals instead?

When SOOOO many people are lacking energy, maybe we ought to consider if energy drinks are really the solution because here’s the problem with energy drinks….

1) Caffeine content, for example....

-8.4-ounce can Red Bull contains 80 mg of caffeine
-16-ounce can Monster contains 160 mg of caffeine
-16-ounce can Celsius contains 200 mg of caffeine
-6-ounce can Bang contains 300 mg of caffeine... but that's not all!

2) There are also other added stimulants such as guarana, taurine, theobromine, ephedra, gingko, kola nut, theophylline, and more which can double or triple the stimulants.

3) Experts warn you that energy drinks may be associated with weight gain, headaches, emotional imbalances, dental problems, dehydration, and heart disease.

Wait… Dehydration? Yes! Energy drinks, sodas, alcohol, coffee, anything containing stimulants are extremely dehydrating!

And heart disease??? Yes, more research confirms that energy drinks can be a HUGE contributor to heart disease… they increase blood pressure, cause irregular heart rhythms PLUS they cause strokes. More and more 30 and 40 year olds are having strokes!! So in your prime years, do you really want to start having to deal with heart disease and strokes??

4) What makes matters worse is that often times young adults add energy drinks to alcohol… compounding the negative effects!

Energy drinks are addictive and they are the cause of many health setbacks! Think thrice before you drink!!

The truth is… Real energy comes from having a clean system! 

So if you are typically lacking energy , if you…

Spicy Chicken Wings

12 each small drumsticks and wings
    OR 10-12 drumsticks and thighs
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup red pepper sauce
4 drops black pepper essential oil 
   OR 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 drops lime essential oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Prepare chicken and pat dry, then place on parchment paper on a baking sheet; bake 40 minutes at 375F to remove most liquid fat. Meanwhile, in bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Remove chicken from oven, and place in a baking dish close together (no spacing between), and pour sauce over. Bake an additional 20 minutes or until cooked through.
