So to start off the year right….. DETOX not Diet!
Diets don’t work, the whole focus is negative and so is the outcome (for the most part).
So What and Why Detox?
Since we naturally accumulate toxins on a daily basis which can slow down movement in your bloodstream, intestines, and create mental fogginess… DETOX is a super positive thing to do…
-improves digestion and organ function
-improve your overall health, often reversing or greatly minimizing negative health challenges
-helps increase your energy and ability to sleep more soundly
-helps decrease brain fogginess and improve cognitive function
-helps remove your cravings as you remove the candida from your gut
-AND even drops some pounds as extra weight is often stored toxins and excess water
How do you detox?
Follow along for the next few weeks for many detox tips, and here’s a few for starters…
* Eliminate ‘toxic’ drinks (yep everything but pure water and herbal teas) - just read the labels and pay attention.
* Greatly increase your water intake (2-3 quarts daily) then watch out for the increase of energy and pound dropping! ENJOY drinking plenty of water!
* Add 10-15 drops of lemon essential oil (safe for internal use ONLY) to your water throughout the day. Lemon is great for pulling the petrochemicals from your cells and exporting them, however, orange, lime, green mandarine, tangerine and other citrus essential oils are also excellent substitutes providing antioxidants and yummy flavors WITHOUT the chemical additives. This switch can be life-changing with the many benefits and you’ll enjoy the tasty flavors.

SPEARMINT LIMEADE - so Refreshing!
1 1/2 quarts cold water
20 drops lime essential oil
3 drops spearmint essential oil
Up to 12 drops liquid stevia
(depending on if you like no sweetener or sweetened)
Combine in a 2 quart jar and add ice. Add lime slices if desired.
MORNING PROTEIN LATTE - so YUM!!
1 cup heated water
1 rounded teaspoon almond butter
1 rounded teaspoon protein powder
1 rounded teaspoon collagen powder
1 rounded teaspoon carob or cacao powder
2-3 tablespoons coconut or almond milk
1-2 drops cinnamon essential oil
1-2 drops wild orange essential oil
few drops stevia
Combine all ingredients in order in a 2 cup hot water jar. Stir and enjoy!
MOVE-EZ ELIXIR - so Energizing!
1 3/4 cup hot water
2 drops of each of these essential oils: ginger, cinnamon, lemon or orange, turmeric, black pepper, and copaiba
few drops stevia
1/4 cup coconut or almond milk
To your hot water, add the essential oils, stevia and milk, then stir and enjoy! Great for soothing joint or muscle challenges, and supporting good immunity and digestion.
