Why I Love Adding Essential Oils to My Foods

I absolutely love making my food preps with the addition of pure, tested essential oils from doTERRA. doTERRA isn’t just any company, it is the only one that sources their oils from indigenous regions worldwide, and train their growers and producers with rigorous procedures so the outcome will meet specific standards. And if they don’t comply, we don’t use their oils. But they do comply and here’s why… doTERRA pays them upfront at a higher price that they would get elsewhere, creates a partnership and contract for many years, and buys everything they can produce while encouraging expansion.

It works! doTERRA has the purest essential oils worldwide and their growth rate continues to climb simply due to efficacy! You can tell the difference in aroma, application and results.

Think about this…

If you see an essential oil bottle of black pepper, peppermint, basil, lemon, etc, that says “do not ingest” or “not for internal use”, it's NOT SAFE for topical or aromatic use either! Every application goes internally anyway, right?

So a good test of 'food safe' essential oils is a 'supplement fact label'. It can safely be used internally like those mentioned above… and many flowers, like lavender and more, are also edible.

There are many wonderful benefits of adding essential oils to your foods….

-> citrus oils (lemon, orange, lime, etc) are cleansing, alkalizing, increase metabolism, and are immune boosting

-> black pepper, cinnamon, clove, ginger are also immune boosting, help curb cravings, increase metabolism, and support a healthy digestion

-> herb oils (basil, thyme, oregano, etc) are also excellent for a healthy digestion, supporting many internal organ functions, and boosting metabolism

-> the list goes on…

-> and on top of this…. the FLAVORS are notably delicious and energizing!

NOTE: a little goes a long way, so you only need a few drops to achieve the same results as ground herbs and spices or imitation flavorings. Why not use the real thing… the pure thing… doTERRA essential oils!

Take it look at one example below of a delicious recipe for this season and anytime of the year. Not only does it contain a far more healthier list of ingredients, this dessert is good for your gut.
